Canada’s New Prime Minister: More of the Same Globalist Agenda Under Mark Carney

Canada has a new leader, but for many, it feels like nothing has changed.

On Sunday night, the Liberal Party of Canada selected Mark Carney, a former economic adviser to Justin Trudeau, as the country’s new Prime Minister following Trudeau’s resignation. Carney cruised to victory with 86% of the vote, defeating former Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland in a contest where only 152,000 party members cast ballots.

Despite the change in leadership, Carney’s record offers little hope for Canadians looking for relief from the Liberal government’s disastrous economic and social policies over the past decade.

Who is Mark Carney? A Globalist Insider

Carney, 59, is a far-left technocrat with deep ties to the global banking elite. A former Goldman Sachs executive, he spent 13 years at the company, including a stint as Vice President of Corporate Finance in New York City.

His career also includes serving as Governor of both the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, where he championed climate change policies and pushed aggressive green energy investments at the expense of economic stability.

However, despite multiple chances, Carney has given no indication that he plans to depart from Trudeau’s open-borders policies, sky-high energy taxes, inflation crisis, or censorship regime. Instead, he seems poised to continue the same failing agenda.

Adding to concerns, Carney has refused to disclose his full financial holdings and assets, raising serious questionsabout who he truly answers to.

A Trump-Hating Ideologue with a Vendetta

Carney is not just a globalist insider—he’s also a fierce anti-Trump activist, following in Trudeau’s footsteps of picking fights with U.S. conservatives.

In a bizarre attack, he once compared President Trump to the villain Voldemort from Harry Potter:

“When you think about what’s at stake in these ridiculous, insulting comments of the president, I view this as the sort of Voldemort of comments,” Carney said.

His obsession with Trump isn’t just rhetorical. Carney has already vowed to impose retaliatory tariffs aimed at harming American consumers.

“Canada will not bow down to a bully,” he declared. “In the trade war, just like in hockey, we will win.”

Liberals Gain Momentum in the Polls

Shockingly, despite years of failed Liberal policies, Carney’s rise to power has given his party a boost in the polls. Once trailing heavily behind Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre, the Liberals have gained ground, and in some polls, they now lead the Conservatives.

If this trend continues, Canada could end up electing Carney in a general election, effectively choosing more years of economic decline, censorship, and globalist rule—all while a strong alternative in Poilievre remains available.

Will Canada Choose to Suffer?

A Liberal victory in the next election, which seemed impossible just a month ago, is now a real possibility. If Canadians vote based on emotion rather than results, they may doom themselves to more of the same policies that have weakened their economy and stripped away their freedoms.

With Carney at the helm, one thing is certain: Trudeau’s legacy is alive and well—and Canada’s real crisis is just beginning.
