Is AOC Prepared for Being Made An Example Of

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has broken her silence on her ongoing clash with White House border czar Tom Homan, and—as expected—her remarks do little to credit the intelligence of the American people.

As reported by Jim Hoft last month, Homan revealed on The Ingraham Angle that he had formally requested an investigation into AOC by the Deputy Attorney General. His concern? The congresswoman had openly bragged about hosting webinars designed to instruct illegal immigrants on how to evade ICE enforcement in New York City.

“At what point does this become obstruction?” Homan asked. “I’m not a lawyer, but is she interfering with law enforcement operations?”

“If so, what’s the plan? Has she crossed the legal line? I’m working with the Department of Justice to determine where that boundary is.”

AOC addressed the controversy during an appearance on NPR’s Morning Edition with host Steve Inskeep, where she discussed her feud with Homan and reflected on Trump’s first weeks back in office.

Inskeep opened the discussion by asking what her intentions were in holding the forum and what she hoped to accomplish. AOC responded that her goal was simply to “educate” illegal immigrants about their supposed “constitutional rights” in the U.S.

When pressed on whether she had received any communication from the Department of Justice regarding Homan’s concerns, AOC said she had not. She added that she planned to reach out for clarification and has since sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi asking whether she is under investigation.

Inskeep closed the interview by asking what AOC hoped to take away from the experience. She stated that she wanted to understand where the Trump administration stood on Homan’s accusations and whether they would resort to “political censorship” to suppress their critics.
